Savoring the Flavors at LaRoc

Who says they’re a foodie but takes forever to make their first restaurant post?

Ding ding ding 

It is I, but that's quite alright!

Our first stop I would consider a newbie, having opened its doors within the past 2 years. If you’re a fan of Coral Beach, then you know exactly what I’m talking about. Yup, you got it. It’s LaRoc! LaRoc Bar & Grill, situated on Coral Road by Coral Beach Condominiums, offers multiple seating options, including at the bar, high and low tables, as well as an area with couches overlooking the beautiful shores of Coral Beach. Whether you're swaying to the music selection or serenaded by the soothing sound of the ocean waves, basking in the cool ocean breeze under the shade sail promises a delightful experience.

Now if I’m being completely transparent, the first time I visited, it was evening time for a takeout order and so I didn’t take any photos and I wasn’t 100% sold on the food as what I had ordered, I had better elsewhere. However, this Saturday, my parents and I decided to take a drive to enjoy the views and enjoy a meal at LaRoc. I am so happy that I didn’t count them off.

This time, OMG! Where to even begin! As we all know, we eat with our eyes first and after that first look, I was sold. My parents ordered The Special which was a Chili Wrap with an add-on of conch which was served with wedges and The Mahi Burger which was served with fries. I tasted the mahi, and it was seasoned to perfection.

Guys, I ordered the LaRoc Signature Burger and when I tell you, oh my gosh. I should have known what to expect because it’s the signature burger but let me tell you, I was not prepared! It was the perfect blend of burger, cheese, onions, bacon, (I forfeited the mushrooms) tied together with a Jack Daniels BBQ sauce on a brioche bun. That burger was tasty in so many ways that I made sure to carry a to-go-box with half to enjoy later. I cannot find enough words to describe the burger, but all I can say, once again, chef's kiss. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals, the company, and the view was just an added bonus 😉. The cherry on top is the customer service was excellent. Our waitress was very friendly, warm, and welcoming which made our time there even more enjoyable.
